More about the vague purpose of my almost pointless blog

Thinking about getting this blog started, I suddenly realised that I may not have enough time to sufficiently write about Jdramas cos as it stands right now, I struggle to watch jdramas with the limited time I have.

So I will do my best with whatever I do watch (and am passionate about) but for the most part, I think I will be just offering thoughts that are too long to be comments on other people's blogs namely, AkiraMike's one.

This blog will mainly feature jdramas that Mike has probably not watched/won't watch, so as his drama reviews are really thorough, it would be better for everyone to go to his blog for reference (if he doesn't mind). Unless I hold an extremely different opinion to him on a particular drama or I am really passionate about the drama myself to the point where I have to write up my own follow up!

As I have started rather late with this whole blogging business, I think I may write up some reviews for some older jdramas for jdorama beginners or for those who are sick of korean dramas and want to move onto something a little less time consuming and mind-numbing.

Occasionally (although I really doubt it with the quality of tvb dramas these days), I might touch on some hk dramas and taiwanese/ chinese olden day (wuxia) dramas which are the deadliest for me because if I ever watch one that's decent I typically become too engrossed and suffer really bad withdrawal symptoms and just feel like teleporting back to that time and morphing into one of the characters or just become an invisible character witnessing the story. I may also write up some reviews for the older ones of those too.

If anyone wants a review on newer dramas/ current episodes of the latest ones, you can request it from me and I will try my best to write one up.

Aside from dramas, I was considering to create another blog about all other stuff especially information about restaurants, cafes, shopping for those who may need ideas on where to eat and have nice coffee in a somewhat extremely multicultural but also quite limited Melbourne.

I welcome any ideas/thoughts/feedback on how I should run this blog and whatever other blog I may create.

Here I go!
